This movie is so relevant today with the ultra right trying to erase history. Ava Duvernay did a fantastic job weaving Isabel Wilkerson’s book into a gripping and cinematic masterpiece. If we don’t acknowledge how this country treated those they wanted to “other” and dehumanize, history will repeat itself. Go see Origin ad be ready to face some ugly & uncomfortable truths.
