Smartly written, well fleshed-out characters, and a rare ability to balance the drama with the tension/horror aspects of show. Foreign cinema is doing what we used to-make likable/lovable, character-driven shows, devoid of the western preaching/pandering/audience attacking narratives. Hollywood is dying a much-deserved, self-inflicted death, and I’m all for it. Needs to be dismantled from top down,but, I digress. Foreign cinema/ tv still retain the blueprints for making quality,engaging entertainment. Take note Hollywood. The foreign productions are doing it at a fraction of the cost, with twice the value. Fuck Hollywood! Long live foreign cinema! AIB fucking rules!!!
