If buying for a child to play, they will need to be able to read independently. I wasn’t prepared for this as I figured, “Disney is for kids and they’re rolling in money, they’ll have narrators”. Sadly, no. I needed to read everything for my son in the beginning and the storyline is so tedious. It’s such a grind of mindless nonsense. I can only take so much! Add on that everything in the game is so expensive that it’s completely geared towards you spending more money on their dodgy moonstones. No thanks, Disney. Not kid friendly, certainly not interesting and stupidly expensive.

My son wanted this PS5 game for Christmas but it’s a let down. Accessibility for younger people or newbie gamers is non-existent. Difficult settings are honestly a joke. It’s either hard or harder. For a young kid (and even myself) it’s defeating. First person play is clunky and visually irritating. He loved creating his own Na’vi character but it’s pointless because you can’t see them. Navigating to any destination is so difficult because there’s no map, no clear landmarks and the ‘guided’ option is useless. I can’t say too much for the storyline because so far the early missions have been so difficult for him he hasn’t gotten far enough into it. My son is so disappointed that he can’t play this game successfully. It was a waste of money. If you’re looking for a better ps5 game- Spider-Man 2 was excellent. Graphics, accessibility, story line etc. infinitely better than this let down.
