For me it's 4.1 It's definitely a good remake by Capcom. Not like Reasident Evil 3 where Capcom change almost every thing. But this one is very close to the original one, yes this game have also some minor changes. But still the changes are good change and you feel like nothing changed. Only hard core fans able to identify change. If any one play first time this game without playing the original game still this game impress you, becouse it's have a perfect balance of horror and action like the original one. But this time with batter grafix. Yes everything is not perfect in this. This game have some nagative points also. Like 1. Some of parts of this game's grafix become like the old one. It feels like Capcom took the old game part and then improve it, specially some bosses and create creatures grafix need havy improvement and no one forgot the rain observed in exclusive game plays. The ran is pretty much same. 2. This game have less puzzles then other Reasident Evil games and remakes released in last 5 to 6 years. Puzzles are one of the plus points of Reasident Evil games. But this ge have very less puzzles. Yes original game also had not much puzzles but Capcom easily put more puzzles in this game. To mantain a balance between action and horror, as this is a remake not a remastered version. 3. This game's boss battles are not much long and intersting. Original game's boss fight are very good, because those are difficult, terefainig, long. But this applily not on this game. Yes in the entire gameplay you engaged with atleast 10 normal enemies and some time big creatures also come. But still boss fight is boss fight.
