As an Iranian living in the same atmosphere as pictured in the movie, I could relate to most of it. Seeing how oppressing religious ideologies is not only supported by the government but also by the traditional people living here, you could see and guess why the Woman, Life, Freedom movement hasn't won completely yet.
Technically, the movie was made to the standards of a Noir movie. You can expect a David Fincher-type crime and thriller in this movie. The soundtrack is good and sets to give the audience thriller as the movie progresses.
All over, this was the best Persian movie made, in my opinion. It didn't have to go through Islamic Republic's guidelines and the director was free to show what he should've shown to tell his story.
