To be completely honest, I'm only on page 18 and I can already tell this book is just going to make me angry. The author demonizes the old gods and "proves" the demonization using the Bible, a book written to demonize the gods. It makes no mention of the child sacrifices demanded and taken by the Christian god, (purposefully using lowercase 'G') i.e. gifting Abraham and Sarah a child in old age and then demanding his life be sacrificed less than 10 years later just to see if Abraham would do it. It makes no mention of the plagues of Egypt, in which the last plague killed all the first born without the lamb's blood covering the door ways, . However, the author of this book continuously mentions the human sacrifices made to the ancients. This book is written to unjustly demonize the old gods by a person who has done little research from any place other than the Bible. If you aren't going to use the stories from ancient times that share the old gods ways then refrain from using the Bible as a reference to 'truth'. The Bible is not a history book, no more than Homer's The Illiad, no matter what you want to believe. The gods have returned, but they do not want your devil worship. They are here to help and they are glad to be back. Take it from someone that has studied several of them and who works with some of them everyday. Before anyone comes at me, I believe it's all real, but your God isn't the only one. If anything, he's just the most narcissistic. Oh, and Jesus was a witch
