I have watched Holby City since its inception and thoroughly enjoyed it despite some of its moments of incredibility. However, now they really need to have a word with the HR Dept about how people can just walk in and out of jobs without qualifications or a proper recruitment procedure. Staff caught stealing would not be allowed to return to their posts and whose idea was it for a member of staff to pay for the Agency Staff. It is just so far fetched. The script writers seem to have forgotten that we have built up an understanding of the different characters and when they start acting out of character it is off-putting. The announcement that the BBC is shelving this programme is sad but with the recent scripts it is probably a couple of years too late.
