DEMOTIVATING AND NON-EDUCATIONAL i started off motivated to read this and then ended up with the biggest bummer in the world. this book basically teaches you to accept the fact that you are a loser, which is not true, no one is a loser, loser is a state, it can change, don't accept it, reject it. in conclusion, i felt more motivated throwing it in the garbage than i ever did reading it.

i used to think this book was lame, your average, cliche story of a prince and a girl. I have been struggling for a while now to find romance novels, or series that contain real passion and love. the kind that gives me butterflies and makes me careless of the world's problems. TRUST ME, BUY THIS BOOK. read until like half of the first book and you will fall in love A LITTLE SUMMARY OR POINTERS WITHOUT ANY SPOILERS: 'Society' is divided into factions, your number/faction is according to whether you are rich or not. Maxon is a gentleman, a LITERAL prince who seeks a wife. Aspen is America's (the main character) first love, but he is poor, and so is she. (in my opinion he is the cutest, but a lot of people seem to be on Maxon's side.) they have a legal curfew and they used to meet up at the tree house after aspens long shifts because he needed to provide for his family. America would usually cook for him, but he used to be embarrassed when she does so. he was Saving up for a ring when she was forced to leave him </ 3 i know heartbreaking! END OF SUMMARY FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO BELIEVE IN MANIFESTATION AND MEANT TO BE: i came across this when i was browsing for a romance book to read, i ignored it, until a few days later, (14) to be exact i received it as a gift from my grandma, who did not know i saw this. she didn't even know i read!
