I loved this show!! I think I went in a little pre-judgemental (actors looking a little too clean and healthy for the early middle ages) but I got over that real fast. Excellent story, excellent cast and exceptional direction not to mention a great soundtrack! Other people have already gone into more detail on what makes this show great. I'll just say highly recommend!!

I thought that this show started out really well. The first three seasons were compelling television. Great characters, epic battle scenes and high production value. However, from season 4 onwards it became more and more soap opera and the characters, much less sympathetic. I'm in the middle of what they call season 4 part 2 and I think I'm done.

Not feeling the judges seemingly making their decisions based on their personal feelings towards the contestants and not on the actual challenges. Agree with others that Project Runway is more professional. I stopped watching this after episode 4
