Excellent stories and all thoroughly researched. I have lost many nights sleep being unable to put his books down. His historical books are really well written and now he has written two excellent books of a detective in Germany during World War two. He does not mull on the political implications of the war but tells the story of a detective wanting to carry out his investigations free of the yoke of Natzism and as if the war was not going on around him. All books are rally well worth reading in the order that they were written. I know as I have read them all!!!!
