In response to the 'Millers' posts. You obviously believe that liberties, freedoms, and nations never face the opposition of evil people in their establishment. And within every war is a story. And that story is made up of the stories of each individual involved in it. For some bizarre reason you think the story of a war HAS to contain it's horrors visualized. If you have children you would appreciate a movie that DOESN'T depict the goriness of war.
The story of our nation in general doesn't have to show people who were hacked to pieces by cruel murderers or gruesome car wrecks that have taken the lives of millions or those who have died painful deaths from illnesses.
Or is that what you WANT to see??? If so I feel for you. And you're right... this movie isn't for you. Go find some idiotic depressing blood smeared masterpiece.
This is a really good movie about a difficult time in our nation.
