Really sad about this one. I was really excited, but alas it's just dumb and poorly written. Non of the characters are relatable, but it just falls flat... no magic, no wonder,, no good warm Christmas feeling...

First I would like to say that I personally enjoyed the Juon, Ringu films. Juon origin's? Not so much. It lacks the thrilling scares the film's had and the acting falls flat. The film's obsession with with rape and battery actually ends up deterring the viewer from the story line and even trying to play it off as an "ok" thing to do. It is also irritating that you have to watch it english dubbed because it just makes the show ridiculous. Over all I'm really disappointed because it could have been great.

I feel a 12 year old child wrote this show and Netflix was like "what the hell, why not?" The acting is terrible, the writing is poor and predictable, and all around its seems to be a poor knock off of Lost. Netflix, get your poop in a group stop canceling well written shows, and stop opting for poor written shows.
