This was an excellent movie set against the holocaust. The interplay between the Jewish jeweler, his assistant turned owner and his wife was captivating. The focus of the movie was on the Slowly growing depravity Of the assistant towards his Jewish captive. In the end, unlike the holocaust, the Jews prevail, and wickedness Suffers it’s deserved fate.
