This is just too terrible to watch any more! I got to episode 5, beginning of and it was sooo triggering I just thought that’s enough, this is crap. It’s so ridiculously not of this world. ‘Gentiles’ used like this Jew has never met one before and doesn’t know what ‘shalom’ or ‘Shabbat’ mean or are even after dating a rabbi for several weeks (as if you’d need to date one to know!) ‘shiksa’ banded about as if even JFS graduates would do that nowadays! (Ok some probably do). This is a rabbi dating a non Jewish girl though! Come on! And to add to all that a disgusting reference to the always shat upon ‘short’ people … who writes this rubbish, it’s abhorrent and all in the name of some sort of romantic comedy? One where a pretty with it modern woman allows herself to be dismissed as a friend and hidden from view, ok to sleep with but not to be treated with any sort of respect … by a rabbi! And not to stand up for herself… Just complete and utter nonsense. If someone tells me this gets better and loses its imbecilic language and dare I say plot … then maybe there’s something worth watching but for now this is pretty criminal
