This book was great, they use a few totally over used tricks to hide stuff (and maybe let the author think of creative reasons for what is happening), but I like it a lot. It reminds me of some of the D&D books where you get some combat, some friendship, and some talent advancements. Great book over all. Andrew Rowe wrote a great story, but I'd recommend letting Nick Podehl read it to you. Been stuck on Nick since listening to Patrick Rothfuss's "The Name of the Wind" which was awesome... but don't start it... wait another 10 years before that guy finally makes book 3. You don't want a 7 year cliff hanger... Amazing reader, and perfect for you long commuters. Also less about this book and more about Nick Podehl, the lit rpgs.... unless you like listening to numbers.. skip, it is a decent story... but 50% of your time is listening to stats and stuff. It's like playing WOW or Everquest, but you get to listen to someone do it.. it's ehh
