I have just started using the CSB, so far I am liking it. It is a change from my normal translations that I use. Give it more time before I give it more stars.
I have noticed a lot of KJV only reviewers, they definitely need a lesson in how that Bible was translated for 1611 and a lot of the language used in that translation is no longer used. We as humans evolved in our language. They also need to understand that the KJV was changed 117 times, verses taken out and changed and ADDED. As for the supposed missing verses, they are really not missing. The Bible’s translations today use more reliable transcripts that have been found. Those verses are not even in those transcript and transcripts used for the KJV.they were actually added by the KJV. So really not even part of original manuscripts in Greek or Hebrew. The words of Christ in red is a publisher’s choice that has no bearing on anything. That’s is actually an aid for the reader.
The KJV didn’t come from God, this just that a translation by men, in 1611!
This will forever be a battle translations, which one is right for you is up to you. Be warned there are bad translations out there, The Message is one of them.
