Arguably the best werewolf movie ever. I remember thinking it was just okay when I saw it in theaters but upon rewatch, I realize it isn't just good, it's genuinely great. I think it was advertised like more of an action-horror thriller and it's really a gothic-horror tragedy. It has great action and just the right amount of violence and gore, just not the jump scares the advertising led us to believe. Judge it as a gothic-horror tragedy, and it's incredible.

It's great if you don't mind the CPU going on 50 hit combos on fucking EASY and almost zero useful tutorial. For playing with friends, it's amazing, but if you're playing by yourself and you're not a hardcore tag-fighter person, be prepared to get really annoyed.

It greatly surpassed my low expectations. I was hoping for just "good enough," and it certainly was. The cinematography is nice. The acting is far better than the trailer would lead you to believe. There's nothing original about the story at all, but it is executed well. The werewolf design, though a departure from the classic look, feels real. It looks like something that could actually happen because it isn't such a dramatic transformation. It lends to the suspension of disbelief that movies, particularly horror films, strive for. This is far from a perfect or groundbreaking werewolf film, but it is significantly better than the current reviews would lead you to believe.

Quite possibly the greatest film I have ever seen.
