Easily one of the worst films I’ve ever watched. If you get beyond the glorification of drinking and normalizing teachers getting high school students drunk to pass tests. You are left with a dry as bones storyline with even worse emotional connection to the main characters. I guess the movie gets a pass because it’s only subtitled in Danish, and they get participation points for knowing how to turn on a camera? I’m fine watching a drama with no action but I couldn’t care less when one of the main characters dies because he “shockingly” got…addicted to drinking? How do the other main characters celebrate his death/suicide? By drinking with a bunch of high school students! Which makes perfect sense because one of your best friends died from this, so to celebrate is getting drunk again after you all got sober? The people giving this movie a 5*s had to see some relatability to using alcohol to drown your emotions of your day to day life. Which frankly, is quite sad. I guess it’s one of those movies that “you had to be there” to feel connection. The storyline sucked, the movie dragged and I have wasted an hour and half of my life. I’ve seen a lot of movies and this one tops my list of all time worst movies.
