Taylor has grown into an exceptional writer. She's a fantastic story teller and this body of work paints a sorrowful journey of love, loss, regret and resurgence. The album is incredible. And while everyone is free to have their opinions, I can't imagine how emotionally daunting it must be to consistently produce great work and yet, have your talent discredited because you are a white woman from a privileged background and not the heroine figure the public wants. Not to mention a pop artist and a female one at that. So long London is officially one of my favourite songs of all time.

Been a Fletcher fan since I discovered the You Ruined NY EP during the pandemic. She's an amazing writer and I love how I feel everything when I listen to her music - her pain, highs, lows...every emotion. Now I won't lie, on the first listen of the Girl of My Dreams album, I wasn't convinced it would live up to her other bodies of work, but uhmm that was last Friday, today is the next Wednesday and I know every single song. The album is FANTASTIC. It's different from her other work but in a good way. It shows her growth and I can't believe I almost missed out on such a good album. You also know an album is perfection when you can't choose a favourite song - too many standouts, even "I think I'm growing", which is 1:32 secs and probably meant to be a prelude is amazing. She's been what I'd like to think of as my little pop secret, but it's time for so many more to see and feel her talent. If she doesn't blow up after this album, the music industry is complete and utter $#!T.
