A tight edit, and this film would have well passed off as a mini-movie. None of the topics it tried to discuss has been expanded, leaving a bad taste in the end. Ganesh Kumar, as the uncle, has done justice to his role, and none of the others could perform a sincere part. It looked the remaining cast was trying to get the film up and running in the least possible time. There are several loose threads that you end up wondering why the character Merin (Ranjitha Menon), supposedly the love interest of Bobin (Aju Varghese), was in the movie! With her monologies reminding the viewers of shows like The Office, the director could have totally avoided her, and the film would still have come out the same. The strands, written to involve Bhagat Manual and Ramesh Pisharody, could have been edited out too. They were major distractions that brought a distaste to the viewers.
Claiming to discuss feminism, the male characters are provided with umpteen opportunities to remind the risks of 'female freedom' and tries hard to make it look pro-women. The film drags on for two hours that you might be surprised to note that it is just so long. You will not miss anything if you skip and complete the movie in under an hour. Watch it only if you have absolutely nothing else to do. I am not commenting on the acting prowess of the actors. The faults of this piece of art are the sloppy script and nondescript direction, which underplayed human emotions to bring out what could have been a beautiful sibling relationship story into one which tastes like the cream bun that the uncle throws away in one of the scenes.
