I have every Anne Rice books on the vampires and witches. Loved them. I wasn't that impressed with the drastic change they had done from the original movie to the series though. In the movie as well as in the books, yes I was aware of the same sex relationships but it wasn't a whole lot of it. Wasn't thrown into your face such as the series does so. When I don't mind the whole same sex relationships etc... even support it too because after all we all need someone to love and if that means the person is the same sex as you are then so be it. But I don't like it thrown into my face either. In this series, I felt like the entire series focused on that rather than the full story. I also don’t mind watching movies or series that has some of the sexual stuff in it whether it be same sex partners or opposite sex partners. It doesn't matter to me what it is. I know I am not the only one out there who prefer not seeing all that being shoved into our faces. Even in public, I don't want to be watching people making out. Doesn't matter what sexual orientation they are, that stuff is for the privacy of behind closed doors, not shoved into others faces.
