The complaints about this game are straight up weird to me. I keep seeing “it reminds me too much of far cry”. And then people take away from the score because of that. Uhhhhhh, Elden ring had the same exact combat formula as every dark souls game, but that game got a 10/10, and is jokingly called the greatest game of all time. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the souls game, as I’ve been a veteran of them since demon souls was released, but the company was allowed to use the same formula over and over again, and everyone praised them. Ubisoft comes out with a new game that has elements of a game series they’ve done before, and they’re criticized for it? Make it make sense.. I literally cannot take people seriously.
All in all, this is a good game, with good graphics. It has a learning curve as well, which I love. Mostly when and where to harvest the best materials. Play on hard, and play on exploration mode, so it gives a sense of adventure. Forcing you to find your own way in the world instead of using map markers. Once you start crafting bows that have elemental shots, finding and stocking up on materials to make this ammo is fun, and is quite rewarding when raiding a base. Not to mention there’s tons of things to do, things to explore, new things to find and uncover, as well as wildlife to hunt and new plants to harvest to either craft with, or cook with. And the map is massive. All in all, I think the company did a good job overall. People are just crybabies, and nobody is happy with anything anymore.
