Only an hour into the film and am already hating it. This movie is about suppressing women. More than being an angry young man who falls in love with an innocent young woman; Kabir Singh (played by Shahid Kapoor) is an angry young man who "falls in love" with this girl Preeti (played by Kiara Advani) after seeing her once and then lays claim on her by threatening the entire college, he then pursues her till she "falls in love" with him too. Meanwhile, in this first hour Preeti has said nothing but one word lines. I genuinely can't believe in a society that is pushing gender equality, the media we are seeing is still telling me that a film about a man overpowering and controlling a woman is good and has a high rating.

A beautiful re-telling of 'The Fault In Our Stars'. Be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster in which Sushant Singh Rajput's best acting is showcased. He portrays his character Manny with the upmost vibrancy and joviallity bringing him truly from script to life. Highly recommend watching this film; RIP Sushant Singh Rajput. This world is missing a huge and bright star.
