This show is the embodiment of school culture (homeschool your children or they will learn this nonsense). I have seen this stuff at my own university and it truly is depressing. Quotes from the show: - Look on the bright side, it is nice to see a white guy instead of a person of color wrongfully imprisoned for a change! - "Why do women have a take a self-defense class? Why don't men take a "Don't murder women" class?" - "White girl with too much money.. *cough, white girl with too much money.." (there are so many racist, sexist comments about people's skin colors, specifically towards white men) - "So you're telling me I get to release these girls from the shackles of the Male Gaze" (this is an actual term I was taught in my college course) - "..if society exerted half this effort teaching girls not to be slaves to the patriarchy, we wouldn't have this problem in the first place" I feel bad for white religious men, because in this day and age they are being discriminated against and it is accepted.
