Boring.
To me, a film is not an ensemble of well crafted dialogues, brilliant filmography and some jaw dropping performances. The thread which holds everything together is the story; at the end of the day it's visual story telling. The story is what I find missing in this film. Or even if there is a story, it's so miniscule it has to be searched with a microscope. Thus the film drags at an almost unbearable pace and by the intermission you are left wondering: what is happening ?
The first film, while slow had a steady build-up and you are left in anticipation at might happen next, which one will be the tipping point of Arthur. The second film fails in leaving the audience anticipating the numerous possibilities which might come next.
A movie experience wasted.
