Narratively it feels lacking there's not much actual character development that really occurs characters simply pray away all of their issues. Nothing really is of interest it's a very generic finding Jesus movie but by far one the better ones. Nothing really unique except for it's predominantly POC cast who were phenomenal with using what they had to work with. Dialogue and pacing could be pretty choppy the male lead was a stereotype, made to be a generic fatherless black young man with little to no depth given except for disliking his absentee father. The movie wasn't awful nothing was particularly pretty or egregiously bad but it was better for a faith themed movie but bad in any other context or comparison to any plot involved fim.
