I don’t know what Lee Child was thinking. Reacher used to be a somewhat sympathetic character. In this book he just kills one person after another. What makes him think he’s so far above the law? As I was reading I found was wishing that Jack would be arrested and prosecuted. I was wanting to see that smug look up his throne behind bars. Let’s see how he does in a maximum security prison. I found this book not only disturbing but also sadistic. Don’t waste your time. I won’t be buying any more Jack Reacher books — I don’t like the guy anymore.
