I haven't been so absorbed by a movie for a long time. The depth and the scale of this picture is unreal.
The acting throughout was absolutely exemplary.
Sometimes trying to pick fault with a movie only serves to ruin the movie for the person picking fault. Trying to be critical for me seems to undermine the reason for watching a film.
If things are obviously wrong or flawed, then that's different, and I guess that can depend on your level of knowledge.
This for me was so imaginative, yet so real. I think super real sci-fi is enchanting. Regardless of how long the film was I think the theory of relativity may have affected me when I watched it. I didn't want it to end.
The whole idea/theory of space travel, how relativity affects time all of the astrophyiscs and quantum science that was touched upon blew me away. But underneath it all, the love, the pain of missing your family, how love transcends time, distance, space.
I was just blown away.
Easily one of my favourite films to date.
