I don't understand all the 5 star reviews. It's an extremely slow family drama with very little sci-fi elements thrown in. It is also one of those shows which makes sure it reveals very little to all the intriguing questions right till the very last episode. All these unanswered answers may or may not come in the second season. No doubt acting is pretty solid, the story line is pretty unique. But if the second season doesn't come, it's pretty much a waste of the viewers time.
