This is what happens when a developer spends 10-12 years to bring an idea to game day. I do like it and everything feels good but it still feels old for a new (AAA) game. Technology in both hardware and software advanced 100x in the amout of time it took to bring this game to fruition. So many newer games and many remastered titles have a more advanced feel to the game. Maybe a wake up call to speed up these game production rates? *Small edit* Come now leave the pronoun stuff out of the gane for one thing I know through all my years of RPG rather it be a Dwarf,Elf or other it knew they where a Dwarf,Elf or other. Leave your real world out of my game....I come here to get away from this.

Unfortunately another developer making a $30 game that would barely gave gotten that for it 20 years ago yet charge AAA prices just because they can. Save your money and wait until you can buy it used for a price it is actually worth.

Edit one: After many hours more of play I have to point out the exceptional wind and its effects on the environment. The game titles or the developers themselves gain a so called "fame" by nailing certain aspects of a build and these guys and gals may have found there's in this. The way the movement of the environment responds to the wind and combined sounds are near perfection....added a star.

Okay, Yes it takes off pretty much where you where right after the prequel and that's what seems so strange when you run into characters you spent time with in side missions and they ( and Ichi ) act like you have never meet? They left out a few of the "cute" aspect of the game like the little one liners a character might say when performing a skill which to me made the game have that special "something " that made the game feel anime like add in the storyline it just isn't as interesting as the first Over all it still scores a four star but missed out that fifth for it feels like the effort just wasn't there to be better than the last game but more so just to make the profits off of the first game which was top shelf. Worth the purchase and the play but just came up a bit short considering how great the last game was.

I just don't do 5*....This game earned it for keeping the game as realistic to the original movie. I was concerned with the wokeness ruining everything that it would infect this title like most new games...Spiderman, Mirage and well just about all of them but they managed not to fall down that rabbit hole. Well done and a big thank you for keeping today's political correctness out of it.

Such a let down....game felt like a watered down DLC content for Orgins that failed to qualify for production. So they toss it out anyway as a stand alone. And when they said they want to go back to the assassin's creed roots I didn't think they meant graphics as well. So simply bad with the power of today's consoles to look so dated was its only achievement which is not a complement.

Okay, unfortunately the crazy left is getting more brazen inserting wokeness into video games ( they just can't leave real world politics out of games) more and more. That being said I can honestly say this is the first game that to me shows just what the Ps5 is fully capable of to the point of finding myself on a ledge just looking at the scenery.....Amazing spiderman would say! Just the opposite I felt in the latest Assassin's Creed game which felt decades old in graphics. Very well done Insomniac Thanks!

Where to start.... I almost want to like it but it falls short in just about everything... The storyline was there but the writers I'm guessing are teenagers that just discoverd the F word and took what mabey could have been a good story and turned it into mess. The Graphics also felt like it was so close to being good but just misses that certain something that makes it all come together. And the mechanics feel like gaming in 2007.

This is definitely game of the year material if it was still 2008.
