Not your typical movie coming out of Hollywood these days. Very artsy, and a strange format, going between movie action, backstage drama, and even back into the screenwriter's mind. At times it made me wonder what was going on. But the actors acted. It's as if the director freed the actors to show us their craft. I'm pretty tired of the same old action movies, and this is something totally different. I didn't go in with high expectations, but was happy with the results, and will be pondering scenes and lines from the movie for several days.
