I've been a diehard fan of JRPGs since discovering Super Mario RPG as a ten year old kid. I love Western RPGs and tabletop RPGs, but the magic delivered in a good JRPG is second to none. With that being said, the Persona series is in a class of its own. Everything from the awe inspiring Palace design, to the deep combat/confident system, to the incredible soundtrack is world class. I'm in the middle of NG+ and have spent 200 hours so far. If you love JRPGs, you owe it to yourself to play Persona 5 Royal. Play Persona 4 Golden also. I hope it brings you the same level of joy that it brought to me.
