A fun and engaging movie with a handful of twists and turns, but a still a plot that is fairly easy to understand. The highlight of the movie is most certainly Pikachu, but in my opinion the movie cast definitely pulled through. The chemistry between Pikachu and Tim Goodman builds as time goes on and turns them into an inseparable duo, with which you can see the value of their partnership and friendship, and it does it through a very Pokemon way. Lucy (The News Intern) could be a fine supporting character, but she is a little bit underdeveloped for a female lead in my humble opinion. Howard (The antagonist) is a very good character, simply because he's not as predictable as most villains. Overall, the movie is decent and I would give it a 7/10
