As much as I want to love it I just can't. Halfway through the movie I checked the time and thought, ok halfway through and nothing has really happened. The second half was better. The best part I thought was the introduction of LGBTQ+ characters and the kiss between Danielle Moonstone and Arya Stark. The rest of the movie was basically subtext. If this is a prelude to their transition to Xavier's school and in the next one they stick closer to the comic version from the 80s then it stands a chance of being decent.
