It's a movie about faith, but I as a Marine mom, I was seriously disturbed by things portrayed about the military. There is a large death in combat payout of life insurance. There is also survivors benefits for the children and spouses of Kia military. There is also social security benefits for minor children who have lost a parent. It's pretty standard that people take out home owners insurance and in every policy I looked at for myself there was a clause that the mortgage being paid off in the event of a death. So her losing the marital home is pretty unbelievable.
