My wife and I enjoy watching this series and have done so from the start, but were dismayed by the end of the last programme, where it was obvious that the setting off of sky-lanterns was seen as a joyful event. We were dismayed by this event as we have seen the awful pain and distress outcome caused by these lanterns, including the ubiquitous Chinese Lanterns on wildlife. Animals and livestock are burned, choked and killed by these devices which are of NO USEFUL purpose apart from the selfish human idea of 'fun' and making profits without thinking of the consequences to life and the environment.
