*spoiler review*
Absolutely love the new adaptation, all the changes seen in the trailer, made me sceptical however, it has been made abundantly clear they were needed to make a more grounded less linear story. I love the how they've added more realism to the overall situations and character decisions. For example when Joel beats the the corrupt guards face in, after having a PTSD flashback of Sarah's death. Instead of being restricted from a game play perspective it gives the writers more freedom to do more realistic actions, for example: Joel picking up the automatic weapon, it just makes sense from a logical point of view, i mean an automatic weapon is going to be better than a handgun, and also drives players and viewer's crazy when the character doesn't make the the most logical action. The story being a show adaptation creates more liberty of freedom to make logical and smart choices that would otherwise break the game from a game play perspective.
