This movie is an underrated gem. One of the better Superhero movies period, let alone in the X-Men franchise. It manages to tackle a lot of issues that one can have with being a teen, survivors guilt and dealing with one's own sexuality pretty well, especially given that it does so in 1.5 hours and tells the story of so many characters. It's a shame that there will not be any more. Disney should definitely reconsider keeping this one, especially given that they are intent on making a Deadpool 3. And in all honesty there is nothing in this film that really ties to any other x film, so it actually can fit into whatever continuity Disney decides to do with the X-Men. I would recommend this movie to anyone that is a fan of superheroes and/or horror. And I for one wish this cast could come back for more, or at the very least we could get an extended cut.
