The way of the water? More like the way of wasting 3 hours. Nothing was accomplished in this sequel. The first movie did a wonderful job of setting up the plot in this sequel. Jake Sully shows absolutely no character growth. The plot makes no sense. As Chief of the forest people you would expect him to look out for his people. What does Jake do instead? Leave his people stranded to go play in the water. This movie could have been condensed into 1 hour. Now let’s get into the conclusion. The main bad guy, colonel Quaritch gets away in the end. If you think about the conclusion of the movie, it ends exactly how the beginning of the first movie started. The sky people are still here and the bad guy is still ready to cause trouble. Ultimately, this movie showed no growth. The CGI is well done but that gets boring after the first 30 minutes. 12 years to figure out a better plot and this is the best they come up with. Unfortunate.
