It's a classic doomed ship voyage flick, except with no twists or fulfilling ending. I enjoyed the acting and atmosphere, and am an overall sucker for shipman's tale. Dracula's design was actually perfect, classic Nosferatu.
Halfway through the story grows stale. You almost go mad at how dumb and easily the crew is picked off by an obvious threat. Of course, it's the doctor who is the last man standing, and the movie ends with him vowing to stop Dracula, I'm sure in a sequel.
If you liked this movie but wanted something more, watch Bad Traveling from season 3 of Love Death and Robots.
3 stars just because of ther acting, design, and atmosphere.
