Sara Bortscheller

I am only up to season 4, as I just recently found this on Netflix. It is sublime. It's uplifting and sweet without being manipulative (well, mostly), realistic to the time as far as I can tell, and the acting is amazing. Just what I needed in this time of Covid-19.

The fact that I'm still thinking about this series this much after finishing it says that it, at least, was very interesting. I did find it somewhat uncomfortable to watch; even characters I initially found sympathetic turned out to be disappointing in the end. I suppose this is realistic, but kind of depressing. I don't hear much about Molly Shannon's performance, but I think she got the old-money-Mom part EXACTLY right. She was the personality-doppelganger of someone I know. There was one person with an obviously upward arch, but you get the feeling that even he wouldn't really make it. So, overall, fascinating, but a bummer.

I don't always watch reality shows, but when I do, I like them funny. I really enjoyed this one.

I stumbled onto this show and got hooked immediately. Love this guy and his paintings. And my cat is fascinated by the show as well, probably because of the constant tree-frog and bird sounds.

Addictive. Great logic/programming game with (at least one) cool extra game-in-game included. Worth it.
