However, the Nature'/ Nerture debate continues for me.
Yes, we all have 'Ghosts in the nursery ' that define and shape our personality into the people we become, but after 25 years of front line social work with children and families, a degree from the Tavistock in Emotional care of babies, children and many other related training as well as personal experience, I am still convinced that Gene's play a huge part in the people we become.
A strong argument would be children who
have been adopted at birth that years later display personality traits exactly like thier birth parents, despite never meeting them.
More research needed I think in how genes play a role in human development.
