Garbage. I just got this game for my son, we went and got it after he expressed interest in a race game with true to life upgradability for the cars. Playing GT1-4 growing up I immediately though “let’s get the new grand turismo!” I told him about it, got him all hyped up for the game and it’s vast car modification system only to get it home and the first thing that we get hit with is a 4 hour 50gb update that was REQUIRED before even entering career mode. Our disappointment only furthered when we finally got the game updated and running only to find that there are no specific modifications that can be done on any of the cars. It has been “dumbed down” to a system of “want more hp? Click here... your car now has more hp!” Extremely lack luster and ungradifing. Aside from the massive lack in core components that made me absolutely fall in love with this franchise, the few races we did displayed great graphics and the driving dynamic wasn’t bad after turning the auto break off. All and all this was a waste of two days and I will be returning the game in wait for GT7. Shame on you Poly for this massive letdown.
