God’s love, his all encompassing, ever-present, Redeeming Love was showcased in this film. Life can be and often is very hard, but we are not alone. His love cleanses us and sets us free. Forgiveness permeated the story of Angel and Michael Hosea. In this close adaptation of the book, Angel felt so guilty for the things that had happened to her in life as well as the choices that she had made that she didn’t think she deserved grace or happiness. The unfolding of the need for forgiveness and the need of our Savior brought hope and demonstrates the redeeming action of being set free from sin. I highly recommend this movie!
