fightin' Phillies

If you have seen the wrestler with mickey rourke then you've seen this movie. The story itself is a carbon copy. A aging performer at the end of a lifelong career. I did find myself rooting for Pam Anderson to do a good job in this movie. As her past is sprinkled with cheesy shows and movies. Unfortunately Pam's acting chops just aren't there to carry the leading roll. There's a part in the movie where she auditions for another show. The guy doing the auditions lays it out with complete honesty after telling Pam's character no numerous times. I can't remember verbatim but he basically says "your dancing isn't that great, your techniques are technical skills aren't there. You were probably hired years ago base off your looks and that's how you got the job to begin with". That little monolog rings true for Pam's career and probably 75 percent of Hollywood. Jamie lee Curtis did a fantastic job as she always does. Unfortunately, if you remove her character from the film would it change the film at all. The answer is no. All in all, my opinion is this isn't a great movie. It isn't a bad movie. It's right in the middle.

I tried watching it. I typically enjoy the star wars sagas. I fell asleep in the middle of the second episode. I woke up and started it over, thinking I was just really tired. Made it as far as the third episode. This thing is just boring. It's a storyline that is boring. The acting is boring. This isn't good.

The movie sucked. It was already doomed when they decided to do a remake. If you're going to do that, make sure it's better or at least as entertaining as the last one. Mediocre writing. Average acting. Of course there's the woke moments. Movies can't be made to entertain anymore. Have to throw in something to try appease to every single demographic. I don't know the keys to success but the key to failure is trying to please everyone. If you like sucky things and you enjoy wasting your life. Then throw this piece of garbage on. Cheaper by the minute is what it feels like.

The greatest bounty hunter in the galaxy has gone soft. Riding on the back of the mandalorian, seems Disney was eager to get something back on the screen quickly without having a good story line. The character development is painfully slow/borderline boring. Boba fett was supposed to be the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy. Yet, rules with a democracy type of attitude. Letting others dictating how things play out. He then hires a street gang of teenie boppers on brightly colored Vespa type landspeeders to join his clan. Nothing screams street tough like a pack of 120 lbs teenagers. As each episode goes by you find yourself thinking it has to get better. Yet, it stays on the same mediocre path. The final episode brings with it the return of the mandalorian. This is the best episode in the Boba fett series. Ironically, it feels like you're watching an episode of the mandalorian. I really wanted to like this. Looking forward to it. I even watched it for a second time to see if I was too critical......no, I wasn't. It felt painfully worse the second time. The book of Boba fett should of been a pamphlet.
