Very boring film. I never thought that a film with Maggie Smith, Helen Mirren, Michael Gambon, Stephen Fry etc. would be so dull, especially after all the hype. Thoroughly disappointing film. Takes forever to get to the murder, most of the film is just introducing all the characters, who are all so similar, it’s hard to remember who is who. Most of the film is just the characters milling around the house and the grounds, but not really setting themselves up with any particular story arcs. The victim is barely even important, neither are the two culprits. Considering I was recommended this film as “The Best Murder Mystery Of All Time”, I was thoroughly unimpressed. Take my advice, don’t bother watching this film. Spoiler alert, Helen Mirren is the killer. I’ve just saved you 2 hours.
