As some who just finished this game I can honestly say it’s far better than what some people make it out to be. Hell it was more enjoyable than a so called goty in 2022 that only got it because the fanbase wouldn’t shut up about it. Characters were more likable, gameplay was more fun, dialogue was a little cringe but meh. All in all if you enjoy a fun game with fast paced enjoyable combat I highly recommend it over the aforementioned overhyped game.

Game is absolutely amazing. What people keep forgetting is that video games are a STORY TELLING medium. As such games that have stories like callisto protocol > games that don’t have stories and have to pad it out by going oh it’s open world and super difficult like elden ring. I mean symphony of the night was for it’s time super hard and had a great story as such elden Ring has no excuse. Until people wake up and quit lying saying replay or open world makes a good game despite having no story we will keep getting worse and worse games . Callisto protocol is everything open world games like elden ring isn’t Good story, well written characters, an interesting world and thought out plot. My only real complaint is that my friend says it runs slow on his ps4, I have a ps5 and it runs fine.
