I did not enjoy this film for the first hour. I was thrown by the pattern of dialogie and lack of visual action I started thinking it should have been a play then googled it to discover that is what it was! This could have been really good but sadly it needed a lot more development to become a film. You cannot just transpose the action of the theatre onto a movie with famous actors; it makes them seem stilted and unatural; and for the audience that expects the a classic romcom itr is impossible to relax and watch. If only they had adapted it for the big screen with the romance, sex, peril and humour of overlapping affairs. A final note: Some commented on the ages of the actors saying there was a missing generation. Actually the young couple are in their 30s so tha ages made perfect sense and all the older actors have children younger than them.
