Average Aussie crime effort. Very slow in parts. Script reasonable.

I laughed till I cried!! Very funny.

Excellent on all counts. Script, acting and direction.

Predictable but then aren’t they all? Blethyn does a workmanlike job and is well supported by the others in the show. Script follows a well worn path a la Midsomer Murders and the like, but I find the homely presentation easy to watch.

Average druggie themed series. Been done many times. Acting so so, direction mediocre. I give it 6/10.

Fellowes excels at these period pieces. Cast do a workman like job with a rather predictable script that has very few surprises. “Trouble at Mill” has been done many time’s before but still manages to make a reasonably entertaining series.

Plot has been done many times. Most of them better.

Worth a look. Will not break box office records. Norton gives a creditable performance.
