Why would a show like this make up a fake scenario about kidnapping and subsequent loss of life of made up Korean medical team in South Sudan? I fail to see the purpose that this plot offered, outside of the racist stereotypical narrative. Portraying an existing country and it's people as this is deeply problematic, especially when it's unfounded. This is not the first time Korean drama has taken a dig at some African countries and it's not only distasteful but creates a negative narrative. This has got to stop. I'm sure there are several storylines and plots that do not necessitate having Africa or African countries in it. Writers and actors have got to do better.
